AAA Drain Cleaning Services | ABN 54 990 742 917 | Version: 7 September 2026
These terms apply when a customer engages AAA Drain Cleaning Services (AAA) to provide blocked-drain clearing, inspection or locating services. Any confirmed booking details and job-specific written quote form part of the agreement.
AAA is an owner-operated blocked-drain specialist. Services may include basic clearing, electric eel, high-pressure jetting, CCTV drain inspection, electronic locating and appropriate drain treatment. Excavation, pipe replacement and structural drain repairs are not part of AAA’s advertised in-house service unless separately agreed in writing in the future.
The customer confirms they are the owner, occupier or otherwise authorised to request the work and provide access to the property and relevant drainage system.
The applicable initial service charge, plus applicable travel and after-hours charges, is payable before physical drain-clearing work starts. It covers the call-out, stated equipment and included service period. It is an initial service charge, not a deposit.
Standard business-hours prices are those published by AAA and confirmed for the booking: basic $200; eel $350; jetter $500; Clear & Diagnose $750; CCTV standalone $400; CCTV + locate $450; CCTV + locate + supplied footage/report $500. Add-ons and additional-time rates apply as published/confirmed.
Standard advertised prices apply within 30 km one-way driving distance of Carbrook QLD 4130. Over 30-50 km: +$50 per attendance. Over 50-70 km: +$100 per attendance. Beyond 70 km: price confirmed before booking. Travel may be charged in addition to after-hours charges.
After-hours work is subject to availability. Applicable after-hours charges must be disclosed/confirmed before work starts. AAA does not guarantee 24/7, one-hour or same-day attendance.
If a higher equipment level is recommended, AAA will explain the proposed change and price before proceeding where reasonably possible. Amounts already paid are credited toward the higher service level; full first-hour tiers are not stacked.
Additional time is charged at the applicable published rate in 30-minute increments. Approved CCTV, chemical treatment or other listed add-ons are added to the total. The customer may decline proposed extra work but remains responsible for the initial service and authorised work already supplied.
Any remaining authorised balance is payable immediately on completion. AAA will provide appropriate proof of transaction/tax invoice. Customers may request an itemised bill as provided by applicable law.
More than 24 hours: no fee. Within 24 hours before AAA commences travel: $75. After AAA commences travel: $125. AAA arrives but cannot gain access, customer unavailable or cancellation on arrival: $200. Fees do not stack. No customer cancellation fee applies if AAA cancels. AAA may waive/reduce a fee for genuine exceptional circumstances.
The customer must provide reasonable and safe access to affected fixtures, drains, inspection openings, ORG, pits and work areas and identify known hazards, fragile finishes, pets, restricted areas and access issues.
The customer must disclose before work begins any caustic drain cleaner, acid, chemical or other substance put into the affected drain. AAA may delay, stop or change the work method if conditions are unsafe.
The customer and occupants must follow reasonable instructions not to flush toilets, run water or discharge appliances into the affected drainage system while clearing/testing is underway.
Old, brittle, cracked, corroded, displaced, root-damaged or otherwise defective pipework may fail or become apparent during clearing. AAA is not responsible for a pre-existing defect merely because it becomes apparent during properly performed work. This does not exclude liability for AAA’s failure to exercise due care and skill or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Drain clearing does not necessarily repair the underlying cause and AAA does not promise a drain will never re-block. CCTV/locating may be recommended for recurring blockage or suspected structural defects.
CCTV and electronic locating are diagnostic services subject to access and visibility limitations. Indicated location/depth is not a substitute for required underground-service locating and excavation safety procedures. Supplied footage/report is included only where the purchased service says so.
The agreed drain-clearing price does not include extensive cleaning, sanitising, restoration, carpet/flooring replacement, contents cleaning or specialist remediation following a sewage/stormwater overflow unless expressly agreed. AAA will leave its immediate work area reasonably tidy after the agreed service.
If structural repair is required, AAA may help the customer seek quotes from an appropriate third-party contractor. Any third party is responsible for its own licensing, insurance, quotation, workmanship and terms.
AAA may stop or decline work if continuing would be unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope, likely to cause unreasonable damage, or requires specialist work outside AAA’s offering. The customer may decline proposed escalation/additional work and remains responsible for authorised work already supplied.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. AAA will provide services with the care and skill required by law.
Customers should contact AAA promptly with any concern about the service or invoice so it can be reviewed. The parties should attempt in good faith to resolve disputes before litigation where reasonable. Queensland law applies, subject to non-excludable rights.
